Brandon DePalo
Ellicott

Brandon DePalo is a Sophomore Aerospace Engineering and Computer Science double major from Middletown, NJ. Brandon is passionate about helping the student voice be heard on campus. His main goals include working to improve dining services, lowering textbook costs, and increasing transparency between the SGA and the student body. As an adamant biker, Brandon hopes to increase bike accessibility and safety on campus. In his free time, as little as that may be, Brandon enjoys attending Maryland Soccer matches, playing poker, listening to music, playing soccer, working out, biking, gaming, among other things. Patrick Ronk

Patrick Ronk is a Freshman Government and Politics major from Bridgewater, New Jersey. He is a member of the College Park Scholars Public Leadership program and is looking to join the School of Public Policy in the future. As a new member of SGA, Patrick is looking forward to creating initiatives to increase safety for students on campus as well as looking into options for more funding for student groups. Patrick mainly spends his free time hiking, online shopping, watching 30 Rock, or yelling at the television during New York Giants games. Greg Waterworth
Greek

Greg is a senior Government and Politics major from Forest Hill, Maryland. He is finishing his term as President of his fraternity, Kappa Alpha, and was previously the Vice President of Administrative Affairs for the Interfraternity Council. As KA President, Greg oversaw a massive recruitment effort and a charity event that generated over $78,000 for breast cancer research, earning numerous personal and fraternity awards for the successful philanthropy. He has also interned for Representative Womack of the House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. He is eager to join the SGA and work on bridging the Route 1 divide.

Kiese Hansen is a sophomore Government and Politics and Economics major from Brookings, South Dakota. Within SGA, she is involved with both the Student Affairs and Governmental Affairs committees. In addition to SGA, Kiese is the Economics Representative on the BSOS Dean's Student Advisory Council. As a recent transfer student, she is excited to be a Terrapin and is looking forward to her years at the University of Maryland. In her free time, she enjoys going to concerts, hiking, photography, and restaurant hopping. Fiona Nguyen

Fiona Nguyen is a senior Psychology major pursuing a law career. In her sophomore year she was elected as Undergraduate Senator for the College of Undergraduate Studies. Currently, she is the second Vice President of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International as well as a member of Primannum and Mortar Board. In her free time Fiona likes to spend time with family and friends as well as go on photo excursions. She is very approachable and hopes to get acquainted with her constituents over the course of the year. She strongly believes that every voice deserves to be heard on this campus, and hopes that she can be a microphone for her constituents. Matthew Popkin
South Campus Commons

Matthew Popkin is a senior studying Government and Politics and Public Policy and minoring in Sustainability Studies and Middle Eastern Studies. This is his fourth and final year in SGA, having served as the Director of Sustainability and Senior Vice President in years past. Matthew is excited to represent the South Campus Commons community this year, as well as lead the legislature. He is also a BSOS Senator in the University Senate and a member of the Senate Executive Committee and hopes to increase the collaboration between the two organizations on matters of academic policy, something that has been lacking in other years. Matthew is from Rockville, Maryland and has had the opportunity to get to know the State and University quite well by working for Governor O'Malley. In his spare time, Matthew works as a soccer referee and volunteers as a cat handler at the Montgomery County Humane Society.
